Did you schedule your annual fall family session and now you’re looking for some outfit inspiration? I am so happy to share these 3 inspiration boards that I created for you, so it can help ease the stress about what to wear.

We all know moms are the ones who get ready last. Planning your outfits in advance will help you save some time and stress on the day of the shoot. I recommend to start planning a week before the session; take everyone’s outfits and lay them out on your bed or couch. This way you’ll have an idea on how they will look together as a family in case you need to make changes or buy something in particular.

This inspiration boards include options with neutrals and earthy tones. Since our main background has very rich colors, we want to contrast it. Using lighter, neutral and pastel colors will help you to stand out and not blend in with the background.

I’ve made sure to include some neutral and basic clothing items that we usually have in our closets already, but in case there’s something you love from this list, I left you the link for each item in case you want to buy some of these options.

TIP: Boots are a great choice for mom to wear. They are ideal for walking on grass, and will make you look outstanding without being uncomfortable.

TIP: If mom’s outfit includes some patterns, make sure dad’s outfit is more basic and he uses some plain colors. This will create a good balance. Dads can elevate their outfits by wearing nice shoes or a belt.
